Introduction:
I have been playing Pokémon ROM hacks since I was a kid, starting with Quartz, Ruby Destiny Reign of Legends, and Shiny Gold. These fueled my obsession and turned me into a community lurker. Although I attempted to create one myself, I lacked the necessary knowledge and dedication. Now, 10-12 years later, I've decided to revisit developing my own ROM hack.
Description:
Pokemon Radical Red is a GBA ROM Hack by Yuuiii based on Pokemon Fire Red in English. It is a difficulty hack with additional features, similar to Drayano60’s enhancement hacks. It provides access to almost all Pokemon and adds buffs to make various Pokemon and playstyles viable. It also includes quality of life features that make many tasks less tedious.
This project is a collaboration between me and a friend, koala4. While I've handled most technical aspects, he has helped with balancing, suggestions, wild Pokemon locations, testing, and more.
